Chrissy Teigen Reveals Brutal Sunburn in Topless Mirror Selfie After Breast Implant Removal Surgery

April 21, 2020

Chrissy Teigen has sent out a public service announcement to make sure you’re wearing SPF when you’re out in the sun.

The 34-year-old star, who never misses a beat with her social media followers, snapped a topless mirror selfie showing the bright red sunburn line she appears to have from wearing a swimsuit.

Teigen, who covered her nipples with one hand and snapped the photo with the other, posed in the bathroom with just a towel wrapped around her waist and hair. Her cheeks appear to have been burned as well.

“And before you ask, I did it!!!” She captioned the candid selfie, explaining that she did, in fact, wear sunscreen, but was still burnt out from the sunburn.

The photo also marks the first time Teigen has shared a closer look at her breasts since she publicly removed her implants last month.

Fans became curious when the eager cookbook author shared a video of herself being tested for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), but she later explained that she was tested because she was about to undergo surgery.

“Hi Hi! So I tweeted that I’m getting a covid test because I’m about to have surgery. A lot of people were curious (and gossipy!) Understandable, so I’ll just say it here. I want to get my boobs out! They’ve been good to me for years but I’m just at it,” Teigen wrote on Instagram.

The mother of two went on to explain that by removing the implants, she hopes to be able to “unzip my size clothes” and “lay on my belly in pure comfort.” No big deal! So don’t worry about me! Everything is fine. I’ll still have boobs, they’ll just be pure fat. That’s what tits are supposed to be. A stupid, magical bag of fat,” Teigen continued.

Once she recovered from the surgery, Teigen celebrated the removal with a hilarious, out-of-this-world cake.

The dessert, posted on Teigen’s Instagram story, was sent by her friends Meghan Mackenzie and Luke Dillon and has a tombstone sitting on a pair of frosted breasts. The tombstone reads “RIP 2006-2020,” referring to the years when she had breast implants.

She told fans the surgery went “perfectly” except for the soreness.
