Fat Shamers Lizzo Has Come for You in This Epic New Takedown

We can always count on Lizzo to remind us to love ourselves. The Grammy Award winner often uses her social media platforms to preach body positivity. And her latest TikTok post perfectly cuts down on the fat shamers; it should actually be a public service announcement.

The caption says it all: “If you’re not a fat shamer…. Keep scrolling…. Okay, now all the fat-shamers are here.” Viewers were then treated to a montage of Lizzo’s past workouts – wearing, of course, an awe-inspiring array of workout gear – plus a few hot lingerie photos thrown in for good measure.

On the background track (Jack Stauber’s “Buttercup”), Lizzo delivers her message in a calm, composed voice. People, she means business.

“Hey, so I’ve been working out for the last five years, and some of you might be surprised that I’m not working out to have your ideal body type. I’m working out to have my ideal body type.” She said.” Do you know what type that is?” None of your fucking business.”

At this point, Lizzo poses and looks at his reflection in the mirror while wearing a bathing suit.” Because I’m beautiful, I’m strong, I do my job, I stay at my job.” She said.

“So the next time you want to come and judge someone, whether they’re drinking kale smoothies or eating McDonald’s, whether they’re working out or not, why don’t you take a look at your fucking self and worry about your own fucking body, because health isn’t just determined by how you look on the outside.” She continued.

Lizzo ends the video by reminding everyone that “health happens on the inside too.” She also takes another opportunity to appeal to those who body shame, saying, “A lot of you need to do a fucking cleanse of your inner self.”

“Namaste, have a great day.” She said as she signed off.

So far, the video has 1.5 million likes and thousands of comments praising the “Good As Hell” rapper’s candor and self-love.

One person wrote: “Loud and clear for the people in the back!!!” And another said, “The way you love yourself helps me love myself more. Thank you Lizzo”.
